Hi, I'm Stephany John, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Peace Love Marriage & Family Therapy.
I believe healing happens in relationships. Our relationship with ourselves, our partners, our families, and our communities. Whether you're facing personal challenges, relationship struggles, or family transitions, you deserve a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment.

My passion is helping people move from feeling stuck to feeling empowered. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be keeping you from the life and relationships you want while building practical tools that lead to meaningful, lasting change.
My Approach
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including:
-
Gottman Method
-
Narrative Therapy
-
Bowen Family Systems Theory
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
-
Solution-Focused Therapy

Together, we'll strengthen communication, increase emotional awareness, build healthier relationship patterns, and develop practical skills that support lasting growth.

Faith & Culturally Responsive Care
Every person's story is shaped by their background, experiences, and values. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and understood.

As a culturally responsive therapist, I recognize that faith, culture, family traditions, identity, and lived experiences all influence how we view ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. Rather than making assumptions, I approach each client with curiosity, humility, and respect for what matters most to them.

““Stephany is honest and really helpful. Im still early in my process but already I appreciate and look forward to our meetings. Me and my husband are starting to actually look at one another now without as much resentment. Wish we didn't wait so long.”."
I felt completely seen and understood in my first session, which is rare. I appreciate the provider's insight thus far and look forward to working together in the future.”
